Thomas Mutter

I’m excited to be practicing Architecture in Jackson Hole. It’s such a wild and scenic land with opportunities to get out and enjoy the natural environment. The opportunities for fishing, skiing, biking, or even just taking in an awe-inspiring view engage my senses and fill my mind with inspiration.

I lived in Jackson before I went to study Architecture at the University of Idaho and have been fortunate to return to these beautiful  mountains. In my spare time, you can find me on a shoreline fishing for dinner or along a wooded path exploring what's around the next turn eager to see what's up ahead beyond those rocks and brush, anticipating the excitement that builds as I take my next step in the exploration of this wonderful place.

I see this same sense of exploration in our clients as they start down the road of building the project of their dreams. It is a pleasure to see them light up as the project begins to take shape and become a reality.

The creative process motivates me as we design architecture that relates to our client’s unique properties and desires. I enjoy working closely with them from the initial concepts through the end of construction. It is a pleasure to provide guidance and address their concerns as we seek for symbiotic solutions that reverence the land and inspire the occupants of the buildings we create. When all the dust has settled and the project is ready to be utilized, I like to see the awe on the client’s face and feel the satisfaction of a job well done.
