Reaching the limits of town setback, green space, and parking regulations, the Broadway Office building was designed to maximize rental income potential for this fresh, modern workspace in the mountain town of Jackson, Wyo. Clever solutions such as tucking outdoor parking beneath the second floor and routing all circulation to the building’s exterior allowed architects to devote maximum buildable square footage to commercial use. A gabled, wood-sided design helps blend the structure within its residential neighborhood. The building successfully integrates natural light throughout – including a day-lit basement office space – in service of both energy efficiency and an inviting workplace aesthetic.
